![]() ![]() I’m maybe 100 hours plus deep between zbrush and Maya. When I go back down to 95mm (I know I could be even closer to 30-35) i have the issue of the sculpt looking more bulging / bad proportions even though the shape of the face is a lot more accurate. I’ve tried switching back and forth with perspective on and off. In working with reference images (for which I can’t figure out what their focal lengths are), I started adjusting my proportions and now I have something that looks pretty good in Maya at 300-400mm but that focal length flattens the face way too much and makes eyes look tiny. I eventually turned perspective mode on but made the rookie mistake of messing with focal length in zbrush. ![]() As I got far along into this sculpt, I started moving back and forth between zbrush and Maya (where I shade and render). I know the camera in zbrush isn’t a true camera and perspective would only do so much. I’m working on ROTJ era Luke Skywalker / Mark Hamill.Īt the beginning of the likeness sculpt, I largely kept perspective off. ![]()
